"I am so happy I had the opportunity to have Doug and Johanne stay at my house in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, Mexico and look after our dog, Manchas. They are very sweet, worldly, and well-traveled couple who seemed completely at ease from the moment they entered the home - honestly I aspire to be like them when I retire one day! I received just the right amount of updates about how the dog was doing, and they handled last-minute issues calmly and easily. For example, when the garbage men asked for a Christmas tip (something normal around here, but I forgot to mention it), they gave the exact right amount. When the electricity was out for almost 24 hours (due to my mistake of forgetting to pay the bill! how embarrassing) they just went with the flow and didn't get upset. Our dog was happy and clearly loved her temporary family, and I can only hope to meet Doug and Johanne again one day. I was also delighted to come home to find our yard looked great (which meant they had watered it diligently!) and all our plants alive and thriving (honestly, probably doing better than ever). My entire family is very fortunate to have met this awesome couple and we highly recommend them to anyone, anywhere!"

"Johanne and Doug Dyer have been pet sitting my 2 dogs and 2 cats from January 19 until March 2, 2017.
I have been using pet sitters for about 6 years now and have had some excellent ones but Doug and Johanne by far are the best.
The truly care about their little furry charges and you can see it in the way the animals respond.
You are lucky if you can find a free minute in their schedule to come to your house.
They also handled some minor maintenance without any problem.
I recommend them without hesitation.

"This was our first experience with house/dog sitters so we were a bit apprehensive. Two issues made us even more concerned.
A week before we left our old labrador had to get her toe amputated and would require ongoing medical care. The other issue was handling and managing our immature german shepherd puppy. She needed activity to burn off tons of energy and had to continue obedience training sessions 3 days a week.
Doug and Johanne came through for us. They took our lab to the vet as needed…and we are happy to say she fully recovered from her surgery. As for the puppy, take a look at Doug’s posting on his blog entitled Obedience Training-My life lessons from a Dog Trainer. We are most appreciative of the care and attention that Doug & Johanne gave to our four legged family. During our absence we received many status updates and photos -something that always made us smile.
We couldn’t have enjoyed our vacation without having the dogs and our home cared for. Doug & Johanne are extremely competent and willing to go the extra mile.

"Doug and Johanne house sat for me for 6 weeks from December 2017 to January 2018. From our first contact until the end of the housesit, they were organised, efficient and professional. They took great care of my three dogs while I was away. One of the dogs needs to be given medication twice a day and this was done without a problem. They paid all the bills that arrived during their stay on time. When I came home, I was greeted by three happy and content dogs and lots of lovely touches to welcome me home - beautiful fresh flowers and food in the fridge so I wouldn't have to go shopping as soon as I got back, which I really appreciated.
