We have just returned from a little over a month away from home leaving our two dogs + alpacas, sheep, cows and donkeys under the watchful eyes of Doug and Johanne. We had arranged for our sitters to arrive a couple of days before we left which gave us a chance for a good briefing on our home, grounds, equipment, live stock etc. They were very thorough throughout the process and built a lot of confidence in us. The confidence was not misplaced. during our absence an alpaca took seriously ill. They immediately communicated with us. The vet was called and a regime of treatment sorted. The level of care and communication with us throughout this process very definitely saved the life of the alpaca. When we arrived home it was clear that our dogs had been well spoiled. The house was immaculate. Lawns were neatly trimmed and leaves swept. There were essentials in the fridge. There is no doubt that they had taken their responsibilities very seriously. We are very happy to recommend Doug and Johanne for any house sitting and animal minding services. They are a delightful couple.

Doug and Johanne have just this week completed a 3 week house sit at our home in Mount Maunganui, NZ. Doug has done an excellent job with our young, highly excitable rescue dog. He ran daily classes working on her training - heel, sit, wait etc. in a calm, gentle and consistent manner. She was completely changed when we got home and is much calmer, easier to walk and more attentive to humans. Life is so much easier! They have provided love and support for the dog and have kept the house in perfect condition. We have no hesitation in recommending Doug and Johanne for a housesit.

Doug and Johanne were just simply great, they couldn't have been more caring of my dogs and home. I enjoyed meeting them and hope to do so again. They are a great couple, kind and so easy to talk to. I wish them well in their further house sits and would recommend them to all would be future

It was a real pleasure to be able to entrust my home and pets to Doug & Johanne. Whilst away I received regular updates which was great. My roses are once again blooming after the care they received from Doug and my car has never shined as much. Leaving tasty home made soup for me was a treat as was the lovely Banana Bread. I would welcome them back into my home at any time.
